Even though more and more applications are being submitted electronically in Germany, most personnel managers still attach great importance to the cover letter in the application. After all, it is not least with this cover letter that the applicant introduces himself or herself and the decisive persons in the company can get a first impression of the personality. Therefore, a convincing cover letter is the key to a successful application.
